JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Manage and develop the fresh Fruit product assortment based on customer needs, trends, and seasonality.
2. Select and manage high-quality fruit products in line with company standards
3. Develop product category for Produce Fruit.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
5. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and promotional support.
6. Monitor product availability and ensure quality standards across all stores.
7. Analyze sales performance and inventory to drive category growth and profitability.
8. Coordinate with store operations, logistics, and quality assurance teams.
9. Plan and execute seasonal campaigns and category promotions.

REQUIREMENT:

1. Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any major
2. Have experience min. 4 years of experience in merchandiser or buyer fresh (fruit) roles, preferably in the Modern Market, Super/Hypermarket or Retail industry.
3. Strong understanding of market trend, stock control, sales performance, and profitability of fruit.
4. Passionate about buying and sourcing, with a strong understanding of compliance considerations and a commitment to securing market-leading deals.
5. Excellent understanding of store layout & display, block plan planning, and product data analysis.
6. Adaptable and resilient, able to work under tight deadlines
7. Excellent negotiation skills, with a track record of establishing and maintaining positive vendor relationships.
8. Highly honest, responsible, proactive, and creative, with a strong work ethic.
9. Excellent English communication skills
