Job Description:

• Oversee the procurement of Fresh Goods (Fruits & Vegetables, Meat & Fish) and FMCG
  products, both imported and local, in alignment with the company’s product range and
  sales targets.
• Ensure all Fresh & FMCG products meet quality standards while maintaining competitive
  pricing.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, build strong partnerships, and
  negotiate favorable terms to optimize cost efficiency.
• Monitor and manage quality control (QC) processes for procured products to uphold
  company standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stores, ensuring effective communication
  and execution of strategies, promotions, clearances, and key focus areas.
• Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports on procurement spending and
  category performance.

Requirement:

• Minimum Diploma degree (D3) in any field.
• Have experience min. 3 years in merchandiser, purchasing or buyer roles, preferably
  within the retail, supermarket, or hypermarket industry.
• Strong understanding of Fresh products, market trends, and consumer preferences.
• Highly honest, responsible, proactive, and creative, with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain
  strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Able to thrive under tight deadlines and adapt to the fast-paced, ever-evolving retail
  industry.
• Proficiency in English is essential.
• Domicile in Surabaya area prioritized.
